Crater Films is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Jacob Taylor. We are based out of Charlotte, NC.
Jacob Alexander Taylor lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is studying digital media at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He credits his relationship with his Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, as the sole reason for his career progression. One day, Jacob plans to produce faith-based films. As his concentration suggests, Jacob enjoys working in digital media, specifically video. His work explores the great outdoors, mainly through tourist railroads. While studying at Charlotte, notable film projects Jacob has produced include Discovering Morocco and four seasons of Jacob’s Rail Expedition. After graduating from UNC Charlotte, Jacob plans to release a documentary titled This Ol’ Railroad: The Potomac Eagle on streaming platforms in April of 2027. Once he establishes an LLC for his YouTube channel, Crater Films, he plans on branching out to commercial drone services.
